A #rawsome #lunch to get me through this long day 🙏🌿
Hey lovely! Well i shall give you a run down on it all!
You need a healthy diet! Which consists of:
- Fruit and vegetables! All are fantastic :)
- Wholegrains: Brown pasta Brown rice Brown bread Quinoa Wholemeal wraps Brown rice cakes Corn thins
- Healthy fats: Avocado Eggs Nut butters Nuts Seeds Healthy oils
- Lean proteins: Turkey breast, Chicken Breast, Tuna, Salmon, lean cuts of beef, pork, ham, bacon,
Also add in to your diet things like Cottage, cream, ricotta cheese, almond milk, greek yoghurt, oatmeal, muesli, trail mix, hommus, crackers, falafels, etc!
There are plenty more healthy foods too! They are just some of them! Check out my recipes tabs for some more food ideas and creations!
As for the workout part, there are plenty of types of workouts!!
- Running, Jogging, Walking, Cycling, Cross Training, Rowing, Dancing, Aerobics, Gym classes, Boxing, Swimming, Sports, skipping, circuit training, HIIT, sprints, stair runs, mixture of exercises, etc.
Anything that gets your heart rate up! They were just cardio workouts but you can do strength training too! To build and tone your muscles, check out the workout tab on my blog for some ideas for that too!
And if you need some motivation, here’s a paragraph I send to people! ‘The best motivation will come from you. I can tell you all these things to motivate you, but in the end, you have got to want it. So, how badly do you want this? Imagine what it’s going to feel like, watching the scale go down, the measurements go down, the look of your body toning up and losing fat, imagine how healthy you will feel, how happy you will feel, imagine the compliments you are going to recieve, ‘have you lost weight?’ ‘wow, tell me your secret!’ ‘how’d you do it!’ You need to find motivation within yourself mostly, you can use photos, quotes, and things for motivation but the true motivation will have to be when you finally decide that you want to do it. Write down your goals, set up a motivation wall/board, remind yourself every morning about your goals, how you deserve to treat your body better, think about how happy you are going to be once you get to those goals, find healthy foods you love to eat and workouts you love to do. You can do this. I believe in you, do you believe in yourself?’
Also, If you are looking to count calories, i’d recommend reading this post: it will explain everything about it!
Counting calories isn’t for everybody, so if you don’t want to, then just focus on eating clean and working out and results will come! Have a read through the tabs in my blog and the questions i’ve previously been asked and have answered and they could help you aswell! I wish you all the very best on your journey and i know you can do it! x
Forgot to post these the other day. On the left is me at night, after a full day of eating and working out. I’m flexing as hard as I can and that’s all I got. On the right is the following morning just barely flexing. Bloating is a real thing, it happens to everyone, don’t stress.
Went for a run and decided to do some yoga on the pier while the sun sets xoxo
When my dad said “a friend gave me some watermelons” i never expected this. Not complaining though.
You should share.
